I am a dancer in every sense of the word. I dance in movement, conversation, silence, grocery store aisles, on paper, in the eyes, mouth and mind. I love movement such as African, Bellydance, Irish, Firedance, Capoeira, Samba, and just plain ole dancing in the kitchen. I also do yoga at times but find that I will start dancing as I am listening to Thievery Corporation, Gotan Project or Juana Molina. I am very much in tune with all senses surrounding music. I think that is why I like dance so much…it allows me the ability to show you how I feel in an entirely different way. Don't take me wrong, I can jibber jabber all day long about the most ridiculous things but sometimes I would rather just show you through the best instrument given to me,,,my body. I look forward to meeting other lone movers on this site and would love to catch up, possibly go to Zanzibar or some other great back beats, bossa nova type of place…the places where you wish they would never turn off the music….
